Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and GORA RITUALS LLC ("GORA," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of gorarituals.com, our ingredient library, editorial content, and any purchase of our products (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting a revised version with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes to purchase terms apply only to orders placed after the change.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction to make purchases. If you are under that age, you may use the Services only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, and purchases must be completed by that adult. By using the Services you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Our Intellectual Property

The Services and everything in them are owned by GORA RITUALS LLC or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, trade dress, and other intellectual-property laws worldwide. This includes, without limitation:

• All artwork and imagery — every product render, photograph, video, illustration, packaging design, and graphic on the site.
• Text and editorial content — all product descriptions, taglines, heritage and science writing, and ingredient library entries, which are original expression authored for GORA.
• Compilations and databases — the selection, arrangement, curation, and presentation of our ingredient library and formulation content.
• Trademarks — "GORA"™, "Born Above."™, our logos, product line names, label artwork, and trade dress. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use them.

4. Prohibited Uses of Content

Except for the limited license in Section 5, you may not, and may not help or permit anyone else to:

• Copy, download, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, distribute, or publicly display any images, artwork, videos, or product renders from the Services, in whole or in part, on any other website, social account, marketplace, print product, or medium.
• Use our images or content to create, market, manufacture, or sell any product, including prints, merchandise, or competing cosmetic products.
• Create derivative works from our artwork, packaging, copy, or designs.
• Scrape, crawl, harvest, spider, or systematically extract any content or data from the Services, whether manually or with bots, scripts, headless browsers, or other automated means, except by public search engines building general search indices.
• Copy, extract, or reuse our ingredient library or formulation content, in bulk or in substantial part, in any dataset, product, app, or publication.
• Use any content from the Services to train, fine-tune, ground, or evaluate any artificial-intelligence or machine-learning model or system without our express written permission.
• Frame, mirror, hotlink, or inline-link any part of the Services or embed our images on another site.
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, watermark, or other proprietary notice.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or underlying data of the Services, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.

We actively monitor for unauthorized use and will enforce our rights, including through takedown notices, platform complaints, and legal action seeking damages and injunctive relief.

5. Your Limited License

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and view the Services in your browser for personal, non-commercial purposes — browsing, learning about our products and ingredients, and shopping. Sharing links to our pages, and platform-native sharing of our own social posts, is welcome. Any other use requires our prior written permission, which you may request at hello@gorarituals.com.

6. Acceptable Conduct

When using the Services you agree not to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation, or infringe the rights of others.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services, servers, or networks, including via denial-of-service attacks, flooding, or spamming.
• Circumvent, disable, or probe any security, rate-limiting, or bot-protection feature.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information, including fake orders or contact submissions.
• Use the Services to transmit malware or any harmful code.
• Impersonate GORA, our staff, or any other person or entity.
• Purchase products for automated resale using bots or purchasing software.

7. Products, Cosmetic Use & Safety

GORA products are cosmetics intended for external use only. Please read each product's label and ingredient list (INCI) before use. In the event of any difference, the ingredient declaration printed on the packaging you receive governs over the version shown on the site, which may reflect a different production batch.

• Avoid direct contact with eyes; rinse thoroughly with water if contact occurs.
• If you have known allergies or sensitive skin, review the full ingredient list and consider a patch test before first use.
• Discontinue use if redness, irritation, or discomfort occurs, and consult a healthcare professional if symptoms persist.
• Keep out of reach of small children. Store away from extreme heat and direct sunlight.

Statements on the Services about ingredients and their properties are provided for general information, reflect cosmetic — not pharmaceutical — use, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. They are not medical advice and are not a substitute for consultation with a physician or dermatologist.

8. Pricing & Orders

• All prices are in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise and exclude shipping and applicable taxes and duties, which are shown or estimated at checkout.
• We strive for accuracy, but product descriptions, images, colors, availability, and pricing may contain errors. We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, and cancel orders arising from errors — including after an order is placed — with a full refund of any amount charged.
• Product images are illustrative; actual packaging may vary slightly in color and finish, and formulations may be improved from time to time.
• Your order is an offer to purchase; a contract forms only when we ship. We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including for suspected fraud, resale abuse, or quantity limits.
• We may limit quantities per person, household, or order, and may discontinue any product at any time.

9. Shipping, International Orders & Risk of Loss

Shipping timelines shown at checkout are estimates. For international orders, you are the importer of record: customs duties, import taxes, VAT (where not collected at checkout), and brokerage fees are your responsibility and are not included in our prices unless expressly stated. Some cosmetic products may be restricted in certain destinations; you are responsible for confirming that products may be lawfully imported to your location. Refused or undeliverable shipments may be refunded minus shipping and return costs. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon our delivery of the package to the carrier, except where consumer law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise.

10. Returns, Refunds & Statutory Rights

To start a return or report a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, email hello@gorarituals.com within 30 days of delivery and we will make it right — replacement or refund. For hygiene reasons, opened personal-care products may not be returnable except where defective or where consumer law provides otherwise. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable statutory rights you have in your country of residence, including EU/UK consumers' 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases and statutory conformity guarantees.

11. Promotions & Discounts

Discounts, promotional codes, and offers are subject to their stated terms, are personal to you, may not be resold or transferred, and may be modified or discontinued prospectively. Discount abuse (including stacking exploits or automated redemption) may result in order cancellation.

12. Feedback & Submissions

If you send us ideas, suggestions, reviews, or other feedback, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them without restriction or compensation, and you represent you have the right to do so. Do not send us anything confidential.

13. Third-Party Services

The Services rely on third parties — including Shopify for checkout and payments — and may link to external sites. We are not responsible for third-party content, terms, or privacy practices. Your use of those services is governed by their own agreements.

14. Copyright Complaints (DMCA)

We respect the intellectual property of others. If you believe content on the Services infringes your copyright, send a notice to hello@gorarituals.com including: your contact information; identification of the copyrighted work and of the material claimed to infringe (with URL); a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act; and your physical or electronic signature. We will respond as required by the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act and equivalent laws.

15. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, EXCEPT WHERE SUCH DISCLAIMERS ARE NOT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

Our heritage and science writing shares the history and chemistry behind our formulas in good faith, for general interest. Individual results with any cosmetic vary from person to person.

16. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GORA RITUALS LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES OR PRODUCTS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE PRODUCT OR SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US$50).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of the above may not apply to you; in that case our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

17. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GORA RITUALS LLC from and against claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms — including any unauthorized use of our content — or your violation of any law or third-party right.

18. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to the Services, other users, or us. Sections 3–5, 12, and 14–20 survive termination.

19. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising from them or the Services are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Delaware — except that if you are a consumer in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction whose law grants you the right to sue or be sued at home, you retain that right, along with any entitlement to use national consumer dispute resolution bodies or the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform. Before filing any claim, you agree to email us at hello@gorarituals.com and give us 30 days to resolve the issue informally.

20. General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any product-specific terms presented at purchase, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect, and the provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
